Dr. Michael Bryan received his undergraduate education
at Nebraska Weslyan University in Lincoln where he received his Bachelor
of Science Degree in 1999. He went on to attend Medical School at the
University of Nebraska in Omaha and received his Medical Degree in 2003.
Dr. Bryan received his General Surgery Residency training at the
University of New Mexico Health Science Center in Albuquerque from
2003-2008, and he went on to complete a Colon and Rectal Surgery
Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas the following
year.
Dr. Bryan is Board Certified in General Surgery and is eligible to
complete the Colon and Rectal Surgery Board certification in 2010. He is
a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of
Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society
and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Bryan's special interests are in the practice of Colon and Rectal
Surgery http://www.fascrs.org/patients/conditions , including cancer of the
colon, rectum, and anus, colonoscopy, operative and non-operative
management of benign anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids and
fissures, and laparoscopic colon surgery
